In June 2016, Singapore published its "Order Amending the Second Schedule of the Environmental Protection and Management Act", known as "SG RoHS".
SG RoHS mirrors EU RoHS2 that restricts the same six substances but only in six types of Electrical and Electronic Equipment. The maximum concentration values in homogenous materials are the same as EU RoHS as:
Lead: 0.1%
Cadmium 0.01%
mercury: 0.1%
Hexavalent Chromium 0.1%
Polybrominated biphenyls: 0.1%
Polybrominated diphenyl ethers: 0.1%
The law enters into force on June 1st, 2017.
