In February 2016, France stated that I will propose to add BPA to the REACH SVHC Candidate List in August of this year due to the toxicity as an endocrine disruptor and carcinogenic, mutagenic, and reprotoxic. This came after France’s proposal to restrict BPA and ECHA’s evauation in Decemer 2015.
