At the end of February 2011, the South Korean Ministry of the Environment (MOE) released a draft of “the Act on the Registration and Evaluation of Chemicals” for public consultation. The new REACH-like Act will overhaul the current TCCA and regulate both new and existing substances. The legislation is also known as" Korea REACH" is expected to be adopted in 2013 and enter into force in 2015.
