On October 5th, 2011 South Korea's Ministry of Environment (MoE) published in its Official Gazette a revised list of banned chemical substances under its Toxic Chemical Control Law (TCCL).
The revised list includes specific substances under the following generic groups:- benzene and its salts
- strychnine and its salts
- chlordimeform and its salts
- paraquat salts
- pentachlorophenol and its salts
- 2-naphthylamine and its hydrochloride
- 4-aminobiphenyl and its hydrochloride
- 1,4-Dichloro-2-(1,1,2,3,3,3-hexafluoropropoxy)-5-nitrobenzen and mixtures containing 25% or more of the substance (CAS 130841-23-5)
- 4,4'-[Isopropylidenebis(4,1-phenyleneoxy)]dianili and mixtures containing 25% or more of the substance (CAS 13080-86-9)
